At around 4:29 p.m., the woman was driving the car, a 1990 Toyota, northbound down Montongo Street when she swerved onto the side of the road, apparently being affected by drugs or alcohol at the time. The car hit a curb after swerving, which caused it to spin out of control and finally hit a tree.

The woman is now in the trauma center of a hospital, having sustained multiple injuries in the crash. Police say she has lacerations that include a head injury and an injury to one of her arms.

The suspected drunk driver was driving just outside San Diego when he crashed into a chain link fence. Once the car broke through the fence, it proceeded to smash into an electrical box, an impact that proved severe.

The accident took place at around 2:30 a.m., at a site near South Meadowbrook Drive and Paradise Valley Road. Reportedly, the car involved in the DUI accident was a Pontiac Firebird. The victim of the most severe injuries in the crash, which were described as major head injuries, was a male passenger in the car.

It was not reported whether the driver has yet been arrested on DUI.

Just after midnight, the driver was advancing down El Cajon Boulevard in a Budget Rental truck when he seems to have began driving wildly. He hit at least two vehicles, one of which was a parked white Mitsubishi Montero. That vehicle sustained heavy damage from the crash, including a smashed window, flat tire, and broken tail light.

The truck continued crashing into other fixtures in its path. After climing the sidewalk, the truck then downed a palm tree and then pylon. It then ran into The Greek Corner resteraunt, shattering a window and demolishing the front of the structure and roof.

Other fixtures damaged by the drunk driver included several other trees, plants, a pay phone, and at least one other building, owned by Progress Management.

The driver’s  name was never released. A passenger was also present, but was released after being questioned. Fortunately, no injuries took place.
