The man, who lived in Calexico, was injured in the accident in El Centro and died later at 1:20 a.m. The man was in the front seat of a Ford Escape that collided with a Toyota Corolla, in a car accident which occurred on northbound Highway 111. According to authorities, following the car accident that happened just before midnight on Thursday, the man was rushed to the San Diego hospital where he died later. The name of the victim was not released.
