Trolley Strikes and Kills Bicyclist in Mountain View

An unfortunate trolley accident resulted in the death of a bicyclist in the Mountain View area. The collision occurred early Tuesday evening just after 5 p.m. near Greenwood Memorial park and Mortuary on Imperial Avenue. The cyclist was struck on a stretch of tracks near the Park and died at the scene. The gender, name, and age of the victim were not available at press time.

9-Year-Old Hospitalized after Bike Collides with Vehicle

A car-versus-bicycle accident in San Diego left a 9-year-old bloodied and subsequently hospitalized. The accident occurred when the boy, who had been riding his bike in the 1300 block of Tarbox Street, was hit by an oncoming car. The accident itself was reported at 4:45 p.m. in the afternoon. When authorities arrived on the scene they found that the youngster was wearing a helmet and bleeding from his face.
