At around 9 a.m., the motorcyclist smashed into the rear of the CHP vehicle on Interstate 5 in San Diego.

Authorities report that the CHP vehicle was parked in the median of the northbound lanes of Interstate 5, just before Sassafras Street. The motorcyclist, for unknown reasons, drove off into the car, which was unoccupied at the time.

As of now, the rider has been hospitalized at a local hospital. It is unknown the extent of the motorcyclist’s injuries.

The man, a motorcyclist of 29 years old, was found later in an embankment that was located under a transition road. The unnamed motorcyclist was traveling west on Interstate 8, and had just entered onto the on-ramp of the exit to SR-125, at which point the accident occurred. According to reports, he took the curve of the ramp at the wrong angle and ran into a wall.

Upon impact, the motorcyclist was thrown from the vehicle over a slope on the exit. His 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle actually continued after the man fell, finally stopping hundreds of feet from where the crash took place. Unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident . The time and exact details of the accident remain unclear, but are being investigated.

The motorcycle crash took place on a road just outside San Diego, on a road whose name wasn’t released. The sailor has yet to be officially identified from California Highway Patrol, but it was said that the man is still on active duty. While riding in his motorcycle, the sailor lost control and collided with another vehicle, a car, at around 5:50 pm. Paramedics arrived at the scene only to find that the man could not be revived. Fortunately, the driver of the car wasn’t injured. Officials have not released the sailor’s name pending notification of his family.

The man, Lawrence Fullerton III, was involved in an accident on Interstate 15 when he crashed into a stalled car. Fullerton was a 65-year-old resident of Poway.

According to reports, Fullerton was traveling northbound ion Interstate 15 when his motorcycle, a Honda CBR, hit a Volkswagen Jetta that was stalled on the road. At the time of the accident, Fullerton was properly equipped with a helmet. Unfortunately, his injuries remained severe and led to his later death at Palomar Medical Center hours later.

Both vehicles had been traveling Westbound on 91 just east of Euclid Street.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and discovered that the cyclist’s  foot has been damaged.  They bandaged it prior to taking him off to the Anaheim Memorial Medical Center for further evaluation.  The extent of other injuries is not known at this time.
