Jul 6th, 2010 by RichmondJ
One of San Marcos’s 4th of July celebrations this past weekend was a cause of serious concern after several people in the vicinity of a fireworks display were injured. According to reports, the injured included four adults, one of whom was hospitalized after the fireworks accident.
The San Marcos fireworks display was administered by a professional company, but a misfire took place during one of the launches of the display. As a result of the misfire, the table holding the fireworks overturned, pointing the fireworks away from their intended direction. The fireworks shot away from the crowd, but four people were still injured.
The site of the accident was Bradley Park, a facility located off Rancho Santa Fe Road and Linda Vista Drive in San Marcos.
