San Diego Boy Dies In Swimming Pool

A 5-year-old boy of San Diego died yesterday of drowning injuries, authorities report. After being found floating in his neighbor’s pool, the boy was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later was pronounced dead.
The drowning accident took place on the 400 block of Loma Alta Drive on Father’s Day Sunday. At this point, the accident is not thought to be of a criminal nature.
The boy’s name has not been released.
