Pedestrian Accident Involving 8-year-old In Otay Mesa

Authorities in San Diego are reporting the recent collision of a car and an 8-year-old girl in Otay Mesa. The girl was injured in the accident, but her injuries were not fatal.
On Sunday, at around 1:50 in the afternoon, the young girl ran into the road, placing herself between several cars. One of the cars ran into her, injuring her. Authorities confirmed that the car was not speeding at the time of the pedestrian accident.
The girl was injured in the accident, which took place on the 200 block of Quintard Street in the Otay Mesa neighborhood. An emergency team transported her to a local children s hospital, Rady. Although injured, she was responsive and breathing when she was taken away.
