Bicyclist Injured In Crash With Van

In San Diego, a bicyclist was just recently hospitalized after a significant bicycle accident involving a van. The bicyclist has been identified as a male aged 40 years old.
The accident took place in Grantville, a neighborhood located in the eastern region of San Diego. At approximately 7:30 a.m, the bicycle and van were both moving on an on-ramp on Interstate 8 at Fairmont. There, the bicyclist and van collided.
San Diego Fire and Rescue reported to the scene of the accident, finding the bicyclist already injured. They have reported that the man suffered a major head injury in the bicycle accident. He has now been taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, where he will be receiving treatment.
