Evacuation Necessary In San Diego Apartment Fire

Multiple residents were evacuated when a fire ignited in the generator room of an apartment complex. In the four-story building, known as Archstone Presidio View, the fire began for unreported reasons on the first floor at around 9:07. San Diego fire rescue officials were called to the scene, extinguishing the fire in half an hour. Evacuations took place as the fire progressed, though it was unclear whether residents were let back in after the fire has extinguished. According to reports, there was property damage, which will be estimated following investigation.
