A woman that was trapped inside of her Lexus was freed with the jaw of life after a vehicular collision with a flower delivery truck early this morning. The female motorist who suffered injures, was taken to the Western Medical center-Santa Ana to be treated.
The incident occurred just around 10:11 a.m. at the intersection of Portola parkway and Tustin Ranch, the time when the call came in about the crash. Authorities arrived on the scene to find the female driver of the Lexus trapped. Firefighters were dispatched and had to use the Jaws of Life to cut away the driver’s side door to remove the woman. Although suffering from minor injuries the female flower truck driver was not taken to the hospital—both vehicles were towed. An investigation into the automobile crash is ongoing.
