In Long Beach, a 20-year-old motor scooter driver suffered moderate injuries when an SUV crashed into him early Monday morning. The motor scooter became lodged beneath the SUV after the collision which occurred at around 10 a.m. at the corner or Martin Luther King Jr. drive and 7th street. Paramedics and firefighters responded to the call of the motor scooter rider’s predicament and found the young man pinned beneath the white SUV’s bumper. The force of the collision threw the hapless biker onto the ground where he sustained his injuries. He was treated at the scene before being take off to a trauma center to be looked at. The SUV driver was unhurt.
As this incident continues to be investigated the injured man as well as his family members should look into probable personal injury litigation, especially if the accident was not his fault. Even though the injuries were said to be moderate, moderate can evolve into something more serious over time and then the man and or his family would be stuck paying exorbitant medical bills.
