A man from Valley Center is dead after crashing his truck into the median on State Route 63. At around 12:45 pm yesterday, the man progressed down the highway in his vehicle, a 2002 Ford F350. While driving, the man sustained some sort of urgent medical problem that may or may not have led to the crash. He lost control of his vehicle and began to swerve on the road, in the end striking a a guardrail and then the median of the road. Following the truck accident, the man was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital, but unfortunately was pronounced dead later.
It was unclear what exactly caused the man to lose control of his vehicle. The man’s name was not released to the public.
