Hit-And-Run Suspect Charged in Traffic Death of Inglewood Teen

A hit-and-run driver who was responsible for killing an Inglewood teen has turned himself in and was arrested for the young man’s death. The 40-year-old south Los Angeles man was charged Thursday with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter, driving on a revoked license and a felony count of leaving the scene of an accident. The incident occurred Sunday at 1 a.m. after Andre Thompson, the driver, allegedly ran down the 14-year-old Semaj Spencer in his Inglewood neighborhood. The youth had been jaywalking across Imperial Highway east and Crenshaw Boulevard when he was struck
