Fire Lights Up Torrey Pines

A fire that took place in Torrey Pines this morning fortunately caused no injuries. The brush fire sparked within Torrey Pines Park for unknown reasons, scorching up to two acres in the State Reserve just after 1 pm. San Diego Fire-Rescue Department responded to the fire on Tuesday, and were able to control the flames in under 20 minutes. Although the flames scorched brush in the are, no structural damage occurred.
