Farming Accident In Yuba City Kills One

A Yuba City man died on July 29th when his vehicle struck a tree of a peach orchard, Jose Pinon, 50, was on the job at a Yuba County farm when, for reasons unknown, the bin carrier he was driving hit the tree. Co-workers located Pinon at around 8 am and contacted paramedics, after which local firefighters and ambulance crews arrived at the scene, transporting the man to Rideout Memorial Hospital. CPR was performed on the man, but was unsuccessful as the man was pronounced dead at 10 am. An autopsy was scheduled to take place on Wednesday.
