Early Morning 2-way Vehicle Crash Ends in Fatality

A collision that occurred in the Huntington Beach area ended in a fatality after a two vehicle crash. The fateful accident occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Garfield Avenue at 5:10 a.m. One injured motorist was taken to the Huntington Beach Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The intersection of Main Street and Garfield Avenue was blocked as authorities investigated the scene to determine the cause of the wreck. The name of the deceased was not released pending notification of next of kin.
