Driver Not Found In Rancho Santa Fe Car Crash
Aug 17th, 2009 by RichmondJ
A car that rammed into a power pole was unaccompanied by a driver when authorities arrived on Thursday, according to reports. At around 1:45, firefighters responded to the scene of a reported car accident at Rambla de los Flores and Calle Chapparo. When firefighters arrived, they’d find the car in a ditch 200 feet from a power pole it had smashed. Oddly enough, the driver of the car was nowhere to be found.
As a result of the dropped power pole, houses in the area lost power and the road closed down for hours while San Diego G&E worked to repair the affected equipment. Authorities are still investigating what actually took place in the accident Thursday morning.
