Aug 19th, 2009 by ANorman
In Westminster today, a pickup truck and dirt hauler collided on the westbound 22 freeway causing significant damage to a center divider but no real injuries. The auto accident occurred just east of the Knott Avenue off-ramp when the two vehicles struck one another, afterward the pick up truck hit the center divider knocking huge chunks of concrete into the traffic lanes. Authorities were made aware of the accident at 11:56 a.m. this morning.
Soon after the dirt hauler and the pick up truck were cleared away, a second accident occurred on the eastbound side of the highway. The wreck involved a red, two door Coupe. Paramedics were called to the second accident scene although the condition of the involved motorist was unclear.
