A rollover accident in Long Beach ended in injury Monday morning when two cars traveling on the northbound San Diego (405) freeway collided. The collision happened at 12:45 a.m. at Palo Verde Avenue and caused one of the vehicles to overturn, after which it landed on its roof and blocked a lane of traffic. Rescue workers were able to quickly free the man who suffered only moderate injuries. No one else was harmed in the wreck.
Although the accident could have been much worse, the results remain to be seen. The man in the overturned car could very well go to the hospital and find that he has internal injuries. Sometimes, these types of injuries can cause permanent damage and are not easily diagnosed. This is why it is always wise to see a doctor after a crash even if you think you are okay.
