Vehicle Crashes into Jewelry Store, Shocks Witnesses

In a stunning, near movie like development, a silver Toyota crashed into a Huntington Beach jewelry store at around 11:39 a.m Monday morning. The store, called Isabella’s Fine jewelry is located on 16912 Algonquin Street and situated near an adjacent restaurant which also sustained some damage. The car, a silver Toyota Camry, smashed the store’s window and came to rest against a back wall. Although the store was open for business, no one was hurt.
One witness, who was seated at the nearby restaurant drinking tea, stated that the car came very close to striking her and a companion. “One table over and it would have hit us”, she revealed.
All considered, everyone, including the car driver, was extremely lucky. Even so, the negligent driver could face probable litigation from business owners for property damage related expenses. This would especially be true if the individual was drunk, drowsy or otherwise willfully impaired.
