Two Injured After Car Crashes Into Apartment Building

Two victims of an Wednesday evening accident have now been hospitalized with moderate injuries. The two adults, one elderly, were inside a South Mollision building in El Cajon when it was struck by a vehicle, at around 9:15 last night. It appears the driver of the car slipped and hit the accelerator instead of the brake, causing the vehicle to crash into the building. Upon impact from the car, the two unsuspecting victims were thrown from couches through an apartment window, sustaining injuries. The people in the car were also injured by didn’t require hospitalization. On top of that, the apartment suffered considerable property damage to its structure. Police described the apartment as no longer “livable.”
