Jul 13th, 2009 by RichmondJ
In an apparent effort to terminate a bug infestation, a family of six is now homeless after bug bombs somehow set their residence, a trailer home, on fire in El Cajon. The fire, which evidently caused massive property damage, started after the homeowner put down 16 bug bombs in an area of the trailer home. The fumes from the bug bombs were accidentally ignited by an unknown source. Firefighters reported to the scene after the homeowner’s failed attempt to battle the fire with a garden hose, suffering a minor hand injury in the process. The homeowner was treated at the scene of the fire. The trailer home property damage is estimated at 30,000, according to fire officials.
