Newhall Man Dies In Malibu Car Accident

While California Highway Patrol oficers intensified their patrols over the July 4 holiday, the weekend’s end was unfortunate as a Newhall man died in an accident in Malibu. On Sunday, the car accident occurred on Malibu roads when his car fell over the side. Michael Mutz, 41, was the driver in a 2003 Honda that fell off the side of Malibu Canyon Road. For causes unknown, the man drove his car through the lanes next to him, eventually driving off the road entirely. During the fall, Mutz received injuries that resulted in his death. According to reports, Mutz was not wearing a seatbelt during the accident.
