A motorcycle accident in Anaheim clogged lanes and caused traffic to congest to a slow crawl just west of Carmentia Rd in Cerritos. The incident occurred at 7:46 a.m. Tuesday morning after the bike collided with a black GMC Sierra pick up truck. Both vehicles had been traveling Westbound on 91 just east of Euclid Street.
Paramedics arrived on the scene and discovered that the cyclist’s foot has been damaged. They bandaged it prior to taking him off to the Anaheim Memorial Medical Center for further evaluation. The extent of other injuries is not known at this time.
Far too often, accidents like this occur and immediate damage is not easily ascertained. While the motorcycle victim may have suffered severe injury to his foot, he could also have sustained serious injuries to the rest of his body. Also, despite what most people think, many motorcycle accidents are the fault of passenger car drivers and truckers, not motorcycle riders themselves.
