Indio Man Dies after Car hits Tree, Pole and Fence

Late Friday evening, 25 year old Fermin Rodriguez Figueroa was pronounced dead. The announcement was made at 8:24 pm by the Riverside County coroner following a devastating car accident where the Indio man swerved off road, hit a power pole and a date tree near Silver Oak drive. Shortly after the accident, the car drove over a barbed-wire fence where it rolled to a stop.
Sadly, the family members that are left behind will try in vain to figure out just why this tragedy occurred. It is way too easy to simply palm it off as driver error. Some single vehicle accidents are actually caused by malfunctioning car parts like breaks or even engine failure.
