Hit And Run Accident Possible Connected With Jewel Heist

San Diego police responded to a hit and run accident on Monday that was apparently related to an earlier jewel heist robbery in National City. The hit and run accident occurred in an area just north of the site of the robbery, near the the intersection of Allegheny street and Calle Tortuosa. According to reports, the vehicle sustained significant damages. A witness that saw the hit and run accident says that two people fled with guns and a sack. San Diego Police and National City police captured two men who are suspected to have been involved in the hit and run accident and possibly the jewelry heist as well.
