Cinar, Pedicab Driver Released From Custody

The driver in a pedicab accident that resulted in the July 4 death of a woman, Sharon Miller, was released from custody without charges yet being filed against him. According to reports from authorities, the pedicab accident is still under investigation as prosecutors determine if charges will be filed against the driver, 23-year-old Sukru Safa Cinar, a Turkish native in San Diego on a temporary visa. The accident involving Cinar occurred on July 4 in San Diego after Sharon Miller, a retired teacher from Illinois, fell from the pedicab, suffering head injuries that were fatal.
Cinar was arrested on the Tuesday following the accident on suspected charges of involuntary manslaughter. Cinar was reported as driving recklessly when the pedicab accident took place last Saturday.
