Brush Fire In Santee Injures One

A brush fire that raged through an area in Santee required local fire officials to battle the fire. The Santee brush fire occured in an area close to the Las Colinas Women’s Detention Facility, threatening a group of nearby mobile homes. The fire stretched through two acres of the New Fronteria Mobile Home Park and the Polo Barn Park at 4 pm, and was handled by Heartland fire officials within an hour. One person became victim to injuries as a result of the fire. It was not reported whether or not the person received treatment for his injuries.
