Boy Suffers Injury In Trampoline Accident
Jul 13th, 2009 by RichmondJ
An 11-year-old boy was critically injured on Thursday while jumping on a trampoline behind his home. Apparently, the boy and two friends had tied a rope to a nearby tree, but the 11-year-old ended up caught in the rope while jumping on the trampoline. The rope tied the boy’s neck, rendering him unconscious behind his home. His playmates, two other boys, initially believed it to be a joke, but told adults soon afterwards. The boy was flown from his Para Marcos Avenue residence to Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. The boy remains under treatment at the hospital, although no reports have been made due to the child’s age.
