Boy Suffers Injury In San Diego Scooter Accident

A boy that was injured while riding on his scooter was apparently one in a larger group of kids that neglected to stop at a stop sign. The accident this past Sunday place 12-year-old boy, unnamed, into a San Diego hospital with minor injuries. According to reports, the boy and friends were traveling on Pommel way, two on bicycles and one riding on a scooter. As the group proceeded down Pommel way, they drove through the Palomarcos Avenue intersection, apparently without looking or stopping at the stop sign. A minivan came from the intersection while the boys crossed, missing the first two boys but striking the 12-year-old boy.
