Jul 6th, 2009 by RichmondJ
A boy became trapped in a storm drain while attempting to retrieve a lost toy, immobilizing himself for around 40 minutes until an El Cajon rescue crew reported to the scene. The boy, aged 7, was stuck in a storm drain on Big Cone Court in Lakeside, according to call received by Lakeside Fire Department. Lakeside Fire Department and El Cajon rescue crews that reported to the scene saved the boy using the Jaws of Life, breaking the storm drain’s stricture to free the boy. Paramedics examined the 7 year, who was uninjured following the incident and required no medical attention.
