Woman Found Dead in Traffic Accident

A 59-year old Romona woman, now identified as Sharon Marice Clanton, became victim of an unfortunate traffic accident while outside of her car.
Clanton was pronounced dead after being found pinned between her vehicle and a fence post on Tuesday, authorities said. Clanton was responsible for delivering meals for residents in the Pine Valley are at the time of the car accident, which occurred at 18 Via Road in Pine Valley, San Diego County. Medics attempted to revive Clanton , but to no avail, she was pronounced dead at 2:37 p.m. California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
Though this traffic accident seems to have been caused by the victims own car, it is a pedestrian accident nonetheless.
