Two Injured In A Chula Vista Accident

Two people in Chula Vista were injured as the outcome of a car accident on Thursday. The car accident occurred when the 77-year-old man and 79-year old woman veered off the road while in their car, striking the vehicles parked on the side of the street and then crashing into a residence. The car accident occurred at around 12:45 pm, beginning as the 79-year old man lost control of the car in an attempt to exit a nearby parking lot. According to police, the car spun out of control and proceeded to hit six stationary vehicles on Glover Avenue before continuing through a wooden fence and hitting a house. The driver injured his arm while the female passenger was reportedly injured in the chest area. Both were transported to the San Diego UCSD Medial Center for treatment of their injuries.
