Man Injured In Car Accident Friday

A man was injured during a car accident on Friday when his vehicle skidded off Interstate 5, crashing into Tecolote Creek from a location near Sea World. The crash occurred somewhere around 11:45, at which time the the car accident had been reported to to California Highway Patrol. The sedan involved in the car accident fell into two feet of water, injuring one person who was escorted to the hospital with undisclosed injuries. As a result of the car accident, the area also suffered traffic congestion, according to CHP.
