Drunk Driving Injures 2 In San Diego accident

Josh Vera and Maria Torres, aged 61 and 50, were the victims of a June 7th car accident that took place on SR 76 when a drunk driver caused a car accident near San Diego. When the car accident occurred, Vera and 44-year-old Colin were driving in a Nissan while traveling east on SR 76. Colin, who was drunk driving at the time, crossed over the center of the road, inciting a severe crash with the vehicle of Maria Torres, who was injured significantly in the accident. In the car accident, which consisted of a head-on collision between the Nissan and Ford Explorer, left both Colin and Vera trapped inside their respective vehicles. According to authorities, Colin was under the influence of alcohol while driving, and was cited for multiple DUIs prior to the accident. Even more, it has been determined that Colin’s licenses was suspended when the accident occurred. Colin suffered injuries as well, but Vera and Torres were also victim to injuries caused by Colin’s drunk driving. Vera sustained injuries of a skull fracture while Torres also suffered unreported injuries.
