Carbon Monoxide Leakage Hospitalizes 22

After a carbon monoxide leakage accident at a local church, authorities report that 22 people, mostly school children but also including others, have been hospitalizedwith illness resulting from the poisoning accident.
The accident occurred at a Catholic Church located in Coronado, which began with two children fainting during mass at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, which doubles as an elementary school. Aside from these two, the Fire Department reports that others suffered nausea, weakness, and dizziness among various illness. In total, 22 individuals, 5 adults and 17 children, were hospitalized with illness as a result of the carbon monoxide leakage accident. In addition, another person felt sick but did not require treatment. Following the incident, the San Diego hazmat teams have shutdown the church to investigate and solve the carbon monoxide problem.
